Alice Hughes: One game at a time

Midfielder previews clash.

Alice Hughes warmup vs York

On Sunday, Leeds United Women host their second FA WNL Division One North clash this week, welcoming Durham Cestria to the Bannister Prentice Stadium.

Coming in off the back of victory against York City Ladies, Alice Hughes previewed the clash: "It's kind of the same for us as it has been all season - taking each game as it comes.

"I think the win against York was important, but we know Durham are a really good side and it's always a tough game against them, but we'll be at home which is a positive for us.

"Football is always about momentum," the midfielder added. "Having the confidence of a win and moving on from the County Cup before that, we're playing some really good football.

"We've just got to keep doing what we know that we are good at, and the results will come. It's one game at a time.

"Durham will be tough, but we need to focus on us and what makes us good, because we have been playing some really good football and I think maybe results haven't shown that.

"It will all come through if we keep on working."
