The Leeds United Foundation will be running a Female Post 16 Education event in partnership with Leeds City College on Wednesday 27th May, aiming to provide female pathway participants with the knowledge and skills to succeed in life or in football.
These sessions are for female players who aspire to play at a high level, whilst also committing to an academic programme of study. Players can study A Level or BTEC courses when committing to the Education Programme. The programme is based at Leeds City College for education studies and the football provision is based at West Riding County FA for training and match days.
This is an on-pitch event with the programme coaches, therefore shin pads, football boots (no trainers or metal studs), and a water bottle are required. In attendance will be Leeds City College to discuss the course opportunities available within the programme and support with any applications, pre course requirements, and interviews.
The session will run from 12pm to 2pm on the 27th May and will be taking place at The Hunslet Club, Leeds, LS10 2AT.
To assist with planning, the Foundation ask that you register your attendance using the sign up link: Leeds United Female Post 16 Education with Leeds City College 26/27 - May Taster Event – Fill in form.
