James Trafford Sunderland Oct 26 Staring in warm ups

James Trafford has been voted Leeds United's Hisense Player of the Match following Sunday's goalless draw with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

The goalkeeper produced another impressive performance to help the Whites secure a point on Wearside, making four saves and keeping a clean sheet in challenging conditions.

Trafford was particularly important when called upon to deny Sunderland opportunities, including an early one-on-one stop to prevent Brian Brobbey from opening the scoring.

The summer signing finished the contest with 53 touches, completing 23 accurate passes, making two punches and recording eight throws.

He also made 12 recoveries and three clearances, while winning one duel as Leeds maintained their defensive resilience to extend their impressive record at the back.

Trafford's performance also earned him 10 points for Fantasy Premier League managers.

The 24-year-old claimed the Hisense Player of the Match award with 51%, finishing comfortably ahead of second-placed Tarik Muharemović, who received 23%.

Ao Tanaka finished third with 6%, while Jayden Bogle took fourth place with 5%.
