The match officials for Leeds United’s Emirates FA Cup tie with West Ham United have been announced, with Craig Pawson set to take charge at the London Stadium.

The fixture is the second time Pawson has officiated the Whites this season, after Leeds fell to a late stoppage time goal against Fulham at Craven Cottage, following a resolute performance in the capital.

United had featured in 12 encounters overseen by Pawson prior to that trip to West London, winning four including the memorable 3-1 victory over Leicester City two campaign ago.

The Sheffield-born referee has also only taken charge of Sunday’s hosts once this term, with the Hammers beating Nottingham Forest 3-0 at the City Ground following goals from Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paquetá and Callum Wilson. In 26 other matches, West Ham have won on 12 occasions and fallen to defeat seven times.

In the Emirates FA Cup, Pawson has officiated one final. In the 2021/22 edition of the tournament, Liverpool overcame Chelsea on penalties at Wembley to lift the trophy.

So far this season in all competitions, Pawson has taken charge of 21 matches, showing 60 yellow cards and three red cards.

Keeping up with the action from Stockley Park is Video Assistant Referee Constantine Hatzidakis and Additional VAR Stuart Attwell.
