Joe Rodon has been voted the Hisense Player of the Match by Leeds United supporters following the Whites’ goalless draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

In a hard-fought Premier League encounter in south London, Daniel Farke’s side produced a disciplined defensive performance to secure a point on the road, with Rodon at the heart of the back line throughout the full 90 minutes.

The centre-back delivered an assured display, making 11 defensive contributions during the contest. Rodon was particularly dominant in clearing danger, registering 10 clearances to help repel Palace pressure inside the Leeds penalty area.

He also added one recovery and showed his physical presence in duels, winning seven battles against the hosts as Leeds kept a clean sheet away from home.

Rodon’s influence was not limited to defensive duties. The Welsh international also produced one key pass, looking to spark attacking moves when Leeds were able to transition forward.

Across the match he recorded 40 touches, completing 14 passes, while also carrying the ball six times for a total distance of 47.9 metres, demonstrating composure in possession under pressure.

Supporters recognised the defender’s commanding display, voting Rodon as their Hisense Player of the Match with 72% of the vote.

Ethan Ampadu finished second in the poll with 10%, followed by Karl Darlow on 6%, while Gabriel Gudmundsson received 4% of the votes from the Leeds faithful.
