The match officials for Leeds United’s Premier League tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers have been announced, with Farai Hallam set to take charge at Elland Road, replacing Tim Robinson.
The fixture will be the first time the Surrey-based official has overseen the Whites this season, with his most recent game involving Leeds coming at home to West Bromwich Albion last campaign, where Junior Firpo’s early goal was cancelled out by Darnell Furlong as the spoils were shared.
Unlike his sole fixture in charge of Daniel Farke’s side, Hallam has taken charge of Wolves twice already this term as they faced Manchester City in the Premier League and hosted Liverpool in the Emirates FA Cup at Molineux.
So far in all competitions this season, the official has overseen 28 matches, showing 93 yellow cards and no red cards across the top-flight, EFL and both domestic cup competitions.
Supporting him on the night will be Lee Betts and Matthew Wilkes, with Lewis Smith on the touchline as the fourth official. Keeping up with the action from Stockley Park is Video Assistant Referee Nick Hopton and Additional VAR Paul Howard.
