Nico Elvedi has been named in the latest FC27 Team of the Week following an impressive international break with Switzerland.

The Leeds United defender played every minute of his country’s victories, featuring at centre-back and producing another composed display in Tuesday’s 3-0 win over North Macedonia.

The 30-year-old recorded 63 touches and completed 47 passes, while making seven defensive contributions. He won six duels, made three tackles, two clearances, two interceptions and four recoveries, as well as registering an attempt on goal.

Switzerland’s perfect record across the international break saw them win all four of their matches, with Elvedi playing a key role at the heart of their defence throughout.

His inclusion in the FC27 Team of the Week makes Elvedi the first Leeds United player to receive the accolade during the 2026/27 campaign.
