From his love of singing and a busy family life to the story behind his move to Elland Road, Leeds United star Jayden Bogle opened up on the latest episode of the official club podcast.
The defender discussed his journey through the game, his development in a new-look wing-back role and some of the biggest moments of his time in a Leeds shirt so far.
There were also some unexpected revelations along the way, including his pre-match meal, favourite video game and a surprise musical performance.
Here are five things we learned from Bogle's appearance on the podcast.
1. A surprising musical side!
Bogle was asked to reveal his go-to song before a match, naming 'Drip Too Hard' by Lil Baby and Gunna as a track that helps him get in the zone.
However, it was his answer to a follow-up question that stole the show.
After being challenged to sing something for Emma, Stuey and Bridgey, the 26-year-old launched into Mario's 'Let Me Love You', delivering an impromptu performance that earned plenty of laughs around the table.
The defender revealed it was also the song he performed as part of his initiation when joining a new dressing room.
2. Family means everything
Away from football, Bogle's perfect day is a relatively simple one: a morning training session, a coffee, a dog walk and quality time with his family.
The defender revealed that he has three children and three dogs at home, making for what he described as a 'crazy household'.
One item he brought along to the podcast was particularly special: a bracelet featuring his children's nicknames.
Bogle explained that he had received it after the birth of his youngest child, who was just nine weeks old at the time of recording.
The conversation also turned to the sacrifices his parents made during his early years in football, with Bogle highlighting his mum's role in getting him to training while he was growing up.
He left home at just 15 to join Derby County, travelling between school and training before eventually moving into digs.
Reflecting on that period, he explained that his mum had played a huge part in his journey, adding that becoming a parent himself had given him an even greater appreciation of what his own family had done for him.
3. He started out as a striker
Bogle is now known for his energy and attacking threat from right-back or right wing-back, but his footballing journey began much further up the pitch.
Asked about his earliest memories of playing, he recalled spending time in the garden with a ball, with his dad remembering how he would take a football everywhere he went.
He joined Reading's academy at a young age and continued playing for fun with friends before making the move to Derby at 15.
Interestingly, Bogle revealed that he initially played as a number nine before moving out to either wing and eventually settling into a defensive position.
That attacking background still influences his game today.
The defender explained that he is always looking for opportunities to affect matches in the opposition half, whether that means making runs into the penalty area, getting into scoring positions or delivering crosses.
He also identified his defensive work as an underrated part of his game, stressing that he is a defender first and is always looking to improve that side of his performances.
4. Promotion was unforgettable
Bogle has experienced plenty of memorable moments during his career, but helping Leeds United secure promotion to the Premier League stands out above the rest.
The wing-back admitted that the scale of the celebrations took him by surprise, particularly when the team travelled through the city on the promotion parade.
Asked whether his favourite part was the bus journey or the celebrations afterwards, Bogle did not hesitate with his answer.
"The bus journey."
He explained that the players were enjoying themselves so much that they wanted to go around again, with the incredible scenes and sea of supporters making it an experience unlike anything he had witnessed before.
5. Jayden's reveals his matchday routine
Bogle gave the podcast team an insight into how he prepares for a match, and it turns out that his routine is built around keeping things relaxed.
His day begins with a shower, some music and a drive to the stadium, with a coffee stop along the way.
His order? A flat white with an extra shot.
Bogle's pre-match food choice was equally straightforward: pancakes topped with maple syrup and, occasionally, strawberries.
After eating, he spends time relaxing before the team meeting, then puts his headphones on for the coach journey to Elland Road.
He explained that music is more about helping him stay calm than getting himself fired up, believing there is already enough excitement and adrenaline surrounding a match.
One final detail completed the routine: Bogle always puts his boots in the steamer so they are nice and warm before kick-off.
