Leeds United travel to the Stadium of Light to face Sunderland in the Premier League on Sunday, and we would like to thank every fan making the journey to support the team.

Sunderland are operating an advanced search policy for this fixture. In addition to normally prohibited items, coins, vapes, power banks, flares, smoke canisters and umbrellas will not be permitted inside the stadium.

Please see below some important information ahead of travelling.

Plan your journey early:

  • Whether travelling by train, car or bus, allow plenty of time to reach the stadium. Supporters are advised to arrive at least 60 minutes before kick-off, which is scheduled for 4.30pm.

  • Supporters travelling by car should plan their route in advance, including making their own parking arrangements. Due to increased demand on matchdays, there is no parking provided by Sunderland.

  • Sunderland Railway Station is approximately a 10–15-minute walk from the stadium. Park Lane Interchange is also within walking distance.

  • The Stadium of Light and St Peter’s Metro stations are both close to the ground. Check your route and return travel arrangements before setting off.

Opening times:

  • Fan Zone – 2pm

  • Away turnstiles – 3pm

Know the stadium layout and policies:

  • The away section is located in the North Stand, with entry through turnstiles 69–74.

  • The Beacon of Light Fan Zone welcomes home and away supporters ahead of kick-off.

  • The stadium is cashless, and purchases must be made by card. Food and drink are available in the away concourse, including at half-time.

  • Sunderland operates a strict no-readmission policy.

Stay safe:

  • All supporters will be searched on entry. Sunderland is operating an advanced search policy for this fixture, with coins, vapes, power banks, flares, smoke canisters and umbrellas prohibited. Please check the visiting supporters’ guide for full details of prohibited items and stadium policies.

  • Throwing objects and using flares, pyrotechnics or smoke bombs are strictly forbidden.

  • Remain in your allocated seat, do not stand on seats or block aisles, and consider the safety of others at all times, particularly during celebrations and in the concourses before kick-off and at half-time.

  • Discriminatory language, tragedy chanting and inappropriate gestures are unacceptable. Leeds United has a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination.

  • Pitch encroachment is against the law and may result in a stadium ban and police action. The pitch is for players, and the stands are for spectators.

The club would like to reiterate the expectations placed on supporters following the Whites on the road throughout the 2026/27 season.

We thank fans for their incredible backing and ask everyone to show respect to fellow supporters, staff and players. Remember, we represent both Leeds United and the city of Leeds.

If you have any questions relating to behaviour or incidents at away games, please email sloquestions@leedsunited.com.

Once again, thank you for your incredible support, and we look forward to seeing you at the Stadium of Light.
