Noah Okafor has been shortlisted for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award after an influential run of form for Leeds United in April.
The forward scored three goals and provided one assist across three league appearances, helping Leeds to two wins and a draw during a memorable spell that has coincided with their run to the FA Cup semi-finals.
Okafor’s defining contribution came at Old Trafford, where his clinical double secured a 2-1 victory over Manchester United. The performance set the tone for an impressive month, showcasing his sharp finishing and ability to deliver on the big stage.
He followed that up with another standout display at Elland Road, scoring once and assisting another in a 3-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Okafor also featured in the 2-2 draw away to AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
Leeds manager Daniel Farke described the period as “one of the best in the club’s modern history,” with Okafor central to the side’s attacking threat.
The 25-year-old faces strong competition for the monthly award. Fellow nominees include Jarrod Bowen and Konstantinos Mavropanos (West Ham), Rayan Cherki and Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City), Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest), Pascal Groß (Brighton & Hove Albion), and Alex Scott (AFC Bournemouth).
Voting closes at 12:00 BST on Monday, 4 May.
