James Trafford kept a clean sheet as England secured their first UEFA Nations League win of the campaign with a 2-0 victory over Czechia in Prague.
The Leeds United goalkeeper, 23, started between the posts for a second successive international and completed the full 90 minutes at the Fortuna Arena.
Anthony Gordon opened the scoring shortly after half-time, heading home Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross, before captain Harry Kane doubled England’s advantage in the 69th minute.
Trafford had already been called into action during a lively opening, racing from his goal to deny Pavel Šulc when the Czech forward broke through one-on-one.
Despite England enjoying the majority of possession and creating 22 shots, Trafford remained alert throughout, making two saves to preserve the clean sheet.
The Leeds stopper also impressed with his distribution, completing 19 of his 20 passes for a 95 per cent accuracy rate. He made 27 touches, four throws and four recoveries, while also winning one duel.
England now turn their attention to their next Group A3 fixture, with Croatia up next in October.
