Tarik Muharemović believes both a strong Sunderland side and the weather could cause Leeds United issues in today’s Premier League fixture if the Whites aren’t on it from the off.

After arriving at a blustery Stadium of Light, the Bosnian international spoke to the media to give his final thoughts before the warm ups.

“Starting good in the season, we are really keen to follow our goals for our system where we train every week and we follow how our team should play,” Muharemović said.

“And, how the XI plus the subs should play together, fight for each other, and we have to keep on going like this. We know how good Sunderland are.

“The team is good. Obviously, every team has a different start in the season but still we know what this team can do. Last year they achieved Europe so it is a really big thing.

“We know the players and, yeah, we know how hard these games can be but we are here to try to win and to take all the points.

“It is going to be a tough one. Also, the weather, I think. The wind is unbelievable but we are ready. We are here and ready to fight.

“We go into every game confident and ready to fight for the three points. We are here to win. We are going for every game [because] we want to win so we will try our best and fight.”
