Deep into stoppage time, Dominic Calvert-Lewin capitalised on a defensive mix-up to secure all three points for Leeds United as they saw off Brighton & Hove Albion in their penultimate fixture of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.

In the final Elland Road clash of the season, Daniel Farke’s side made it eight unbeaten and collected another clean sheet as they defeated the Seagulls 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking to LUTV after the dramatic victory, defender Jaka Bijol said: "Amazing day again! Last game at Elland Road, I think we couldn’t wish for a for a better result. We just kept ourselves in the game and at the end, one moment decided.

"Throughout the season we always stuck together with our fans, they brought us some amazing nights and we just gave everything on the pitch and I think that connection was visible through the season.

"Keep our composure throughout the game, keep our cool, cool heads because we know that they are good on the ball. We know that they are going to have possession but unless they create something, let them let them have the the ball, let the keeper have the ball.

"We just kept our heads cool and kept ourselves in the game and at the end, we always get our chances to score as well. Dom took that one and 1-0. I enjoyed every second of it."
