Leeds United goalkeeper Karl Darlow spoke to LUTV after earning a second clean sheet in as many matches, backing up stalemate at Crystal Palace with a goalless draw against Brentford.
The visitors’ defence stood firm despite the hosts threatening a winner in the second half but the Welsh stopper was pleased the team were able to add another point to the tally.
“We have defended terrifically as a team in recent weeks,” the Welsh international began. “It is a collective effort from the front.
“Obviously, we are slightly disappointed that we have not won the game. We were the more dominant team looking to push and win it.
“There was a lot of balls coming into the box and we defended it brilliantly. We knew that we would have our chances and we played our football as well as we could.
“It is another point towards safety. We have still got the games to play. We know we need to get more points but it is something we are confident of doing and it is another step in the right direction.”
