Jaka Bijol has been named in the latest Slovenia squad ahead of their upcoming international fixtures later this month.
The Whites defender will link up with Matjaž Kek’s side for two friendly matches, as preparations continue ahead of the next round of competitive internationals.
Slovenia are set to face Hungary on Saturday 28 March at the Puskas Arena, before travelling to Podgorica to take on Montenegro on Tuesday 31 March.
Bijol, 27, has made 21 appearances for Leeds United this season. The defender also got on the scoresheet in December, netting in the 3-1 victory over Chelsea at Elland Road.
Most recently, the centre-back completed 90 minutes in the goalless draw against Crystal Palace, again showing his importance at the heart of the defence.
On the international stage, Bijol remains a key figure for his country. He has earned 69 caps for Slovenia to date and wore the captain’s armband in November’s 1-1 draw with Sweden.
